I'm Thankful

Thanksgiving Day I had dinner with an old friend-Al Ventur who is ninety seven years old. About a year ago when I saw him he was in an assisted living home and could walk and talk. Now he can't walk or talk because he has had a stroke and has dementia. He lives at the same home but is in the dementia alzheimer's ward with thirty others. I saw Jesus in Al and his friends and had the best Thanksgiving I've ever had. Al's face lit up when he saw me and I'm thankful I could bring Al and his friends some happiness. They have a very pretty cat that lives with them and brings them much happiness. Please pray for Al and his friends and the nurses who as you can imagine have a great deal of responsibility and a very demanding job.
