I'm Thankful

Thanksgiving Day I had dinner with an old friend-Al Ventur who is ninety seven years old. About a year ago when I saw him he was in an assisted living home and could walk and talk. Now he can't walk or talk because he has had a stroke and has dementia. He lives at the same home but is in the dementia alzheimer's ward with thirty others. I saw Jesus in Al and his friends and had the best Thanksgiving I've ever had. Al's face lit up when he saw me and I'm thankful I could bring Al and his friends some happiness. They have a very pretty cat that lives with them and brings them much happiness. Please pray for Al and his friends and the nurses who as you can imagine have a great deal of responsibility and a very demanding job.

God's Time

Last week Mary was sentenced to over twenty one years in prison for a crime she didn't commit. Martin Luther King, Jr. liked to say: "The long arm of God's justice rules the universe." Isaiah has something to say also:
"The cowering prisoners will soon be set free;
they will not die in their dungeon,..." Isaiah 51: 14
"I will contend with those who contend with you,
and your children I will save."... Isaiah 50: 25
The above verses were mailed to Mary and I know in the days to come they will give her hope. In God's time she will be set free.

Note to Mary-Helping a Prisoner

Dear Mary-When I don't know what to do I turn to the word of the Lord. It has never failed me. I am going to be sending you verses I believe the Lord wants you to receive. We pray everyday you may accept the Lord's grace and plead not guilty.

God's Grace

Continue to pray that Mary may accept God's grace. We continue to help her reverse her guilty plea.

Update

The prominent criminal attorney has now totally reversed himself-he will not help Mary reverse her plea. The Mafia controlled drug corrupted system got to him. He is afraid for his life like Mary.
